Joseph Parker Could Receive Potential Ban Due to Positive Doping Test
Former world champion Parker produced a positive sample as part of a doping test conducted the very day he fought in 11th-round stoppage to British heavyweight Fabio Wardley.
The Fight Along with Its Implications
The British boxer together with Parker were part of an intense encounter held in London on 25 October to determine the identity of the WBO mandatory challenger facing unified heavyweight titleholder Oleksandr Usyk.
Parker had positioned himself as the primary candidate to face Oleksandr Usyk after stringing together a notable six-fight winning streak, however put his mandatory challenger status at stake in the UK and endured an 11th-round stoppage.

His promotion team published an announcement declaring: "The agency notified everyone involved that Joseph Parker had a positive result following a doping test carried out on the fight day. While the matter is investigated, no more comments will be made currently."
